i never fail to mess up.
i just got back from the interview at the vision place.. i'm pretty sure everything went well and the lady was asking me what times i'm available to work and i thought i had how many hours i can work recorded in my cell phone but i'm not sure- it must've got erased. she came up with 20-25.. that sounds about right but not guaranteed since i have a shitty memory. then when i was taking off the bag i put the loops around my neck, the lady said something about me carrying the heavy bag around- i said, "yeah.. my pt said that i shouldn't carry the bag around my neck but i didn't really listen to her.. because you know.. i mean, if i put the loops around my shoulder- IT'LL JUST FALL OFF!" then the lady said, "oh.. yeah." so i was trying to think if i said anything wrong during the interview and that might've been the only thing i can think of. i told her about how persistent i am, i told her that i was left with a TBI after a car accident and i went through rehab. for so many years to get outta a wheelchair. so hopefully she thinks back to how i said i was persistent when she thinks about how i didn't listen to the pt- hopefully she assumes it's just because i'm persistent and not to just disobey orders.. i'm not sure why i would wanna disobey orders in this case because it involves me being uncomfortable for a few minutes while i carry the bag but i don't have any other way to carry it. i think she said she'll get back to me next week if she's gonna consider hiring me. i've interviewed at these vision places at least 2 or 3 times before- so they're familiar with me.. may have just been different locations though. my job coach also made that observation before i had the interview last week i think. someone's GOTTA give me a shot eventually. i never fail to do or say something wrong at EVERY interview i've had.. so that kinda explains it.
